Frequently Asked Questions
What is an Octagon Receiver?
An Octagon Receiver is a specialized receiver unit designed to capture compacted waste from compaction systems and guide it efficiently into roll-off compaction containers for maximum fill and reduced transfer loss.
How do Octagon Receivers improve waste handling?
By ensuring smooth flow and transfer of compacted material, Octagon Receivers help reduce bridging and clogs, improve effective container capacity, and support faster and cleaner waste operations.
What types of waste are suitable for use with Octagon Receivers?
Octagon Receivers work with compacted construction debris, recycled materials, industrial scrap, and other heavy waste streams that are processed through hydraulic or mechanical compaction systems.
Are Octagon Receivers compatible with all compaction containers?
Compatibility depends on the design and integration requirements of your compaction system and roll-off containers. Keystone Waste can help determine the proper configuration and interface options.
What industries use Octagon Receivers?
Common industries include construction, industrial facilities, recycling centers, demolition projects, and high-output commercial operations where large volumes of compacted waste are generated.
Do Octagon Receivers help reduce hauling costs?
Yes — by guiding compacted material efficiently into containers and maximizing fill volume, Octagon Receivers help reduce the number of hauls required and associated transportation costs.
How are Octagon Receivers installed?
Installation depends on your compaction setup — they can be mounted or positioned to align with your compactor output and roll-off container interface. Keystone Waste can provide installation guidance.
Can Octagon Receivers be used with recycling programs?
Yes — they are suitable for use with compacted recycling streams such as cardboard, plastics, and metals when connected to compatible compaction and container systems.
